The most hectic phase of the season at the end of the year is the period from the end of November until Christmas. We at PostNord have already been preparing for the end of the year for several months and made numerous improvements during the year so that the season would run smoothly. Our consumer customer service is available on Saturdays
In December, our consumer customer service is also available on Saturdays by phone from 10 am to 2 pm and on social media from 8 am to 4 pm.
During the sale and Christmas season at the end of the year, parcels can be picked up from up to 2,300 pick-up points
Our pick-up point network is now completely under our own control and we deliver all shipments customer-oriented, responsibly and on our own terms, in our own network.
The expansion of the pick-up point network will continue even before the start of the season, after which the expansion will pause and PostNord will focus on ensuring the smoothness of parcel deliveries at the end of the year. By the season, PostNord will deliver parcels up to 2,300 locations throughout Finland. You can choose from Lähiboksi parcel lockesr located outdoors in 350 locations, indoor parcesl lockers located in shopping centers (Pakettipiste and Smartmile) in 850 locations and more than 1,100 service points in, for example, Kesko stores.
We increase the delivery times and the filling times of the most popular pick-up points during the season, and in addition, if necessary, we can increase the number of parcel lockers with temporary Lähiboksi boxes. In order to guarantee the smooth movement of shipments around Finland, we have increased the number of line haul transports between terminals and reserved additional cars for the most popular routes.
