What is PostNord Home?
PostNord Home is a service for companies that want to send parcels weighing up to 35 kg within the Nordic countries and up to 31.5 kg to other parts of Europe directly to the home address of a private recipient.
The recipient is free to choose how and where they receive the parcel. For example, the parcel can be sent to be picked up at a pick-up point.
Pick-up
We offer several ways to leave the parcels for us to transport. When sending small quantities, you can leave the parcels at service points by attaching the printed address cards to the parcels. You can order a single pick-up using the Online Shipping Tool, and for recurring shipments, you can arrange a standard pick-up with us.
Delivery
PostNord Home parcels within Finland are delivered to the recipient's address within 1–3 business days. We will inform you of a predefined delivery time slot when the parcel will be delivered. The recipient does not have to be at home to receive the parcel. The recipient will be notified of the arrival in the PostNord app, via text message and email.
The recipient can edit the delivery and add delivery information, such as the door code, directly in the PostNord app or on the service opening from a link in shipment notification.
The sender can edit the delivery method with additional services.
If the home delivery fails, the parcel will be directed to be picked up from a pickup point, in which case the recipient will be sent a notification and instructions in the PostNord app, via text message and/or email.
You can check delivery times outside Finland using the delivery time calculator. Packages will be delivered to the recipient's door, in which case the recipient must be present to receive the shipment.
PostNord Home parcels can be sent to the following countries:
Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

Packaging instructions
The packaging must be suitable for its contents, protect the contents well and withstand normal handling during transport. In the event of a complaint regarding transport damage, the original packaging must be saved.
How to use the service?
With the Online Shipping Tool, you can make reservations, print shipping documents and create electronic pre-notifications for PostNord Service Point. You can download reports for review and tracking as well. You can also use your own PostNord-approved transport management system (TA system).
Additional services
Attended
The recipient must be present to receive the parcel. The recipient can change the delivery to be picked up at a pick-up point or left at the door.
Not outdoor parcel locker
This parcel-specific additional service must be selected for products that are sensitive to temperature fluctuations. The sender must ensure that temperature-sensitive products are not possible to order at an outdoor parcel lockers.
The additional service is only available for parcels delivered to Finland.
Not parcel locker
This parcel-specific additional service must be selected for products that do not want to be directed to a parcel locker for collection.
Heavy
When sending parcels over 20 kg but under 35 kg to Sweden, this additional service must be selected.
Tyres
You can send tyres with the additional service. The tire packaging instructions must be followed.
Signature assurance
When delivering the parcel, the recipient must be present to acknowledge the shipment. The recipient cannot change the delivery to be left at the door.
Return to sender
The parcel will be returned directly to the sender if the delivery attempt fails.
ID check
The identity of the recipient of the parcel will be verified upon delivery. The additional service is only available for shipments to Sweden or Norway.
Driver notification
The driver will call the recipient before delivery. The additional service is only available for shipments to Finland.
Dangerous goods in limited quantities
This additional service must be selected when sending a limited quantity of hazardous materials. You can find the permitted quantities on our website. The sender must provide the information specified in the terms and conditions at the time of ordering.
